Every now and then (perhaps each month) I’d like to link some articles I know of that deal with light novels. Here are a few I’ve come across for July (or late June):
- Frog-kun of Fantastic Memes wrote about the potential of original English light novels, and gives a couple suggestions for reading.
- Zeroreq011 wrote a piece comparing All You Need is Kill with the film adaptation Edge of Tomorrow. (Note: There are spoilers for both works.)
- For a more in-depth review of All You Need is Kill (the novel) itself, here is a post by Kai at Deluscar.
- Misogi wrote an article on No Game No Life’s ban in China, as well as a post on the efforts being made for light novels in Indonesia, where some interesting choices are being made.
- A brief review by Windborne recommending The Empty Box and the Zeroth Maria (fan translation of Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria).
- And here is a short review by Honya for CLAMP School Paranormal Investigators, which is a light novel I need to add an entry for…
That’s all for now, but I do hope to find more interesting articles in the future. If you know of a blog (of have a blog) that deals with light novels at all, feel free to let us all know in the comments!
