It’s now 2015, but we have one more entry for light novel-themed blog posts from 2014 to cover. Here’s some links I can share from December:
- Have you read the Zaregoto books available in English? Here are brief reviews of Book 1: Kubikiri Cycle and Book 2: Kubishime Romanticist at Anime Vios.
- Geekout South-West has had some posts dealing with light novels lately. One of these focuses on Accel World, Rental Magica, and A Certain Magical Index.
- For a couple reviews of anime based on light novels–specifically ones that will be released in English soon–here’s a post from Gentlemanotaku on The Devil is a Part-Timer!, and another from Vasvi on No Game No Life.
- There’s been a lot of talk on Oregairu (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU) lately. This post from Anirabu focuses on both the anime and the light novels.
- More light novel reviews continue to update from Windborne, such as the one for Monster no Goshujin-sama and the one for DanMachi (Is it Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?).
- Speaking of DanMachi, here is a review from Melodicity for the first volume, which recently released in English.
- For a nice post on Kino’s Journey, be sure to visit this page from What Lies Near the Heart.
- Curious about the illustrating process when art is added to a web novel? You can find lots of sketches from hachikuro in this post regarding the story I wrote: I’m (Sort of) an Expert on Ghosts.
And that's that for December. As always, feel free to comment with any other light novel posts you know of from the past month, and I should be able to add links to them here.
