J-Novel Club made some new announcements at the Otakuthon anime convention. (They also held a Q and A session — you can watch the full industry panel here.)
Physical copies for How Not to Summon a Demon Lord will release either late 2018 or early 2019, same time as In Another World with My Smartphone.
Plus some new licenses:
- Echo — a novelization of a Vocaloid song by Crusher-P. (You can listen to it here.) The book is written by Akira and illustrated by Oguchi. Akira also wrote the novel for Yume Nikki, another title translated by J-Novel Club.
- All Routes Lead to Doom! My Next Life as a Villainess (AKA Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei Shiteshimatta…) — (LNDB.info link) — a “reincarnation in an otome visual novel” light novel series written by Satoru Yamaguchi and illustrated by Nami Hidaka. So far there are six volumes published in Japan by Ichijinsha Bunko Iris. Many fans refer to this series as Bakarina.
- Apparently it's My Fault that my Husband's Head Turned into that of a Beast (AKA Danna Sama No Atama Ga Shishina No Ha Domo Watashi No Seirashi) — a two-volume fantasy series written by Eri Shizuki and illustrated by Cho. This is also published in Japan by Ichijinsha Bunko Iris, a light novel label aimed toward women.
