Today on their Twitter feed, Seven Seas announced the license of Disciple of the Lich: Or How I Was Cursed By the Gods and Dropped into the Abyss (不死者の弟子 ～邪神の不興を買って奈落に落とされた俺の英雄譚～ “Fushisha no Deshi: Jashin no Fukyou wo Katte Naraku ni Otosareta Ore no Eiyuutan”).

The series is written by Nekoko with art by Hihara Yoh. It’s a newer series, having only started publication in May of 2020. There are currently 2 volumes available in Japan.

Nekoko is also the writer of another series recently licensed by Seven Seas, Reincarnated as a Dragon Hatchling.

An ordinary teenager is transported to a fantasy world, accidentally gets on the bad side of the gods, and is dumped in the bottom of the world's deepest dungeon with no skills or magic. Ouch! Once there, he meets a mysterious girl…who happens to be undead. But despite her general dislike of humans, she decides to help him out. Can the two of them make it back to the surface? They might just be a more powerful combo than anyone was expecting!

Currently, Seven Seas has this planned for a print release in September 2021 under their Airship imprint. As with most of their light novel releases, it should receive a digital release 4-6 weeks before the print edition.
