Today on their Twitter feed, Seven Seas announced they had licensed the light novel series, Loner Life in Another World (ã²ã¨ã‚Šã¼ã£ã¡ã®ç•°ä¸–界攻略 “Hitoribocchi no Isekai Kouryaku”) for their Airship imprint.
The series is written by Shoji Goji with illustrations by booota for volumes 1 and 2, and by Saku Enomaru for volumes 3 and on. The series began publication on January 25, 2018 and its sixth volume was released in Japan on January 25, 2021. The series is published by Overlap in Japan.
Seven says describes the series as a sarcastic isekai comedy.
When acerbic loner Haruka gets transported to another world with his class, he's not big on adventuring, but he wouldn't mind some cool magic of his own. Unfortunately, the magic powers are first-come-first-served, and by Haruka's turn, there's nothing good left to choose from. Now he'll have to take on this fantasy world the hard way, with a hodgepodge selection of bizarre skills…and with all the girls in class tagging along!
Seven Seas currently has this one set for an August 2021 release. As with their other light novel releases, expect to see the eBook be available 4-6 weeks beforehand.
The manga is available in English from Kaiten Books LLC. There have been 3 volumes of the manga released to date.
No way!! I enjoy this series!
